After you have registered, to begin the application process, you must complete all required information within your application. Then you will be able to apply for specific positions of interest.
Helpful Tip: You do not have to complete the whole application in a single sitting. You can start completing the application, then save any work that you have done, and return to complete it later. To save your work for later, scroll to the bottom of the page of the application and select the Save Draft and Continue button. The Save Draft and Continue button is also useful if you get to a section of the application and you need to gather more information before you can complete it.
To complete your application:
1. Go to the RecruitFront homepage: e.g. districtname.recruitfront.com
2. Login using the username and password you created when you registered / created your RecruitFront account.
Note: Your username is your email address. The same username and password can be used for all school districts that use RecruitFront.
3. Select the My Application link.
4. Choose the type(s) of application(s) you want to complete.
Note: You can select multiple application types at one time if you intend to apply for multiple types of jobs in the future.
- Teacher - This application is required for all teaching positions as well as any other position specified by a district.
- Coach - This application is required for all coaching positions as well as any other position specified by a district.
- School Related Personnel - This application is required for all other positions.
The application types you select here will determine the questions that you will fill out in your application. (i.e. if you select "Coach" and "Teacher" you will be given applications questions related specifically to those types of jobs, but you will not be given questions that are relevant only to applicants applying for school related personnel positions.)
Select the Save and Continue button.
Personal
5. Complete the Personal Information section of the application. All fields with * are required fields.
6. Compete the Interests / Qualifications section (if applicable).
7. Complete the District section (if applicable).
8. Complete the Retirement section (if applicable).
9. Complete the ADA Handicap section. A response to this section is required.
10. Select Validate, Save and Continue or Save Draft and Continue button.
Certifications
11. Complete the Certifications Summary section (if applicable).
12. Complete the Certifications section (if applicable).
Note: Make sure to scroll through all of the certification choices to find your correct certification. Please don't pick the first choice that sounds close.
13. Complete the Out of State Certifications section (if applicable).
14. Complete the Fingerprinting Section.
Note: You will need your NYS Teach System ID to complete this section of the application. Not your social security number. If you are unsure of your Teach ID number please contact NYS Education Department.
15. Complete the Coaching Certification Plans section (if applicable).
16. Select Validate, Save and Continue or Save Draft and Continue button.
Education
17: Complete the High School section (if applicable).
18. Complete the College (Undergraduate) section (if applicable).
19. Complete the Advanced Degrees (Graduate) section (if applicable).
20. Complete the Additional Study section (if applicable).
21. Complete the Scholastic Average section (if applicable).
22. Select Validate, Save and Continue or Save Draft and Continue button.
Experience
23. Complete the Teaching / Administrative Experience section (if applicable).
24. Complete the Past Paid Experience section (if applicable). List last or present employer first and subsequent employers in order after (if applicable).
25. Select Validate, Save and Continue or Save Draft and Continue button.
Student Teaching
26. Complete the Student Teaching section (if applicable).
27. Select Validate, Save and Continue or Save Draft and Continue button.
Extracurricular
28. Complete the Extracurricular section (if applicable).
29. Select Validate, Save and Continue or Save Draft and Continue button.
Military / Peace Corps
30. Complete the Military section (if applicable).
31. Select Validate, Save and Continue or Save Draft and Continue button.
References
32. Complete the References section (if applicable).
33. Select Validate, Save and Continue or Save Draft and Continue button.
Prior Tenure
34. Complete the Prior Tenure section (if applicable).
35. Select Validate, Save and Continue or Save Draft and Continue button.
Law Violation
36. Complete the Law Violation section. A response to this section is required.
37. Select Validate, Save and Continue or Save Draft and Continue button.
Attach Files
38. Complete the Required Files section by uploading a resume and 3 reference letters. These files are required for a complete application.
Note: Valid file types: Only bmp, csv, doc, docx, eml, gif, HEIC, heif, jfif, jp2, jpeg, jpg, m4a, mov, mp3, mp4, mpeg, msg, pdf, png, ppsx, ppt, pptx, pub, rtf, tif, tiff, txt, webm, wpd, wps, xls, xlsx, xml, xps, zip file types should be uploaded.
39. Complete the Additional Files section (if applicable).
40. Select Validate, Save and Continue or Save Draft and Continue button.

41. Complete the Questions section (if applicable).
42. Select Validate, Save and Continue or Save Draft and Continue button.
Coaching Experience
43. Complete the Coaching Experience section (if applicable). List last or present employer first and subsequent employers in order after (if applicable).

Coaching Requirements
45. Complete the Coaching Courses section (if applicable).
46. Select Validate, Save and Continue or Save Draft and Continue button.
Experience
47. Complete the Experience section (if applicable).
48. Select Validate, Save and Continue or Save Draft and Continue button.
Final Application Validation
49. This screen displays at a glance the status of each section of your application. Before your application is complete, please note:
- A green check mark () = the section appears to be complete.
- A orange warning sign () = the section appears to be incomplete.
If any of the sections are incomplete, complete them. You can navigate directly to a section by clicking the section name on the Final Application Validation page.
50. Select the Submit Button
The Submit Button will only show the first time you submit your application. Any updates made to your application after the initial submitting will be applied when "Save" is selected and will update automatically within the system.
NOTE: What this button says will depend on the application type you are submitting:

51. The participating Districts within Recruitfront will populate and from here, you may select Districts you wish to be allowed to view your application for job posting in their District.
52. Select the Box to the Left of the School Districts you wish you have access to your general application.
53. Select Update District Selection and your results will save.
